How long does it REALLY take to review an app?

app review

Apple claims that reviewing an iPhone application for the app store should take approximately 14 days. I think not! I submitted an application to the iPhone app store 3 months ago. As you can see from the screenshot above, I submitted the app May 31. It is now the beginning of september and YES, it is still in review. I sent them an email inquiring about my submission and they replied a week later saying; “Unfortunately we have no further information at this time”. Everyone knows that’s basically a friendly way of asking me to leave them alone! I have to say, I love Apple. I think they are an awesome company, their products such as the Mac and the iPhone are incredible. But I have to say, they have truly disappointed and discouraged me! Apple famously says; “There’s an app for just about anything!”. There could be apps for even more things if they went a little faster! I don’t know exactly how many people are on the apple review team but i think they should consider hiring more!

Is YouTube slowing down?

vid upload

Personally I think YouTube needs to do some major upgrades or updates! Wether you’re uploading a background image for your channel or uploading a video. Recently YouTube has been very… SLOW! I have had to upload a background image for my channel, literally 30 to 40 times because I upload it and it never shows up. I tried to upload a video like I normally do but… that as well either doesn’t upload at all or takes an entire day to upload a 2 minute video! I have been trying to upload a video for 2 days. That is the reason I am making this post! YouTube is the 2nd most popular website on the web. I can understand that there are millions of people on the website at every second of everyday but I think that if they don’t make some major changes to the site so that people enjoy using it instead of getting frustrated using it like myself, those numbers are going to start decreasing.

Microsoft Apologizes For Racial Ad

Posted in News by Logan Bohbot on August 29, 2009 No Comments yet

Microsoft recently put out their new ad with a white man, a black man and an asian man, for their USA ad.  Everything seems to be fine. Although when we saw their Polish ad come out it had the same concept except the black man in the middle was gone. This means two things. One, Microsoft doesn’t like black people. Or two, Microsoft thinks Polish people don’t like black people. When Microsoft got the feedback on their new ad, they were shocked and displeased with the public’s comments. Microsoft immediately took down the ad. On the side from the people if you notice the man in the middle is using a Apple Macbook computer with the apple logo hidden. Kinda funny…. Microsoft will make sure this mistake is deleted permanently.

Blackberry Tour 9630

Posted in Other by Logan Bohbot on August 28, 2009 No Comments yet

blackberryThe new Blackberry 9630 is currently on the Verizon Network on what is called the fastest 3G Network. It also has a cool interface where you can see a 3D icon where you can choose the application you would like to launch, such as the internet or the mail. It has enhanced multimedia and a brilliantly clear display, such as the graphics. It has an amazing 3.2 MP Camera which includes the standard photo camera and a video camera. It has a GPS and Blackberry Maps built in with the phone. It has a slimmer profile. The email, text , instant messaging, phone, and social networking speed are off the charts. The 3 new built in apps are pretty cool, starting with the Blackberry AppWorld. The Blackberry AppWorld is the exact same as the Apple App Store. Except with blackberry apps. It also has a link to ticketmaster with a mobile interface so it is easy for the user. Those are some of the new amazing features and an overall summary of the new Blackberry Tour 9630.

iPod Touch 3rd Generation Camera

ipod-touch-camera-2-1

The iPod Touch 3rd Generation has a lot of new features. But the one that everyone is probably predicting is the feature of the camera. There is no stable source that the camera will be in the new iPod Touch although it is a pretty safe bet. They have been photos leaked on various websites such as www.ipodrepublic.com where there is a camera built in. It should consist of the same features the iPhone camera has except no video camera. That feature will probably come out on the iPod touch 4G if there is a camera in the 3G. A camera would be a great edition to the new iPod, and is probably a pretty safe bet that the new iPod will have a camera.
