Jailbreak for Apple TV?

Posted in News by Logan Bohbot on November 27, 2009 4 Comments

A plugin for Apple TV known as “a TV Flash” is an excellent add-on which allows you to take your Apple TV to the next level. It pretty much allows you to turn your Apple TV into a computer! It can be installed much more easily than jailbreaking an iPhone. You simply download “a TV Flash”, stick it on a USB drive, and then put your USB into your Apple TV. Then it boots up with all the new features! Warning: do not unplug it until it is completely done. Once installed, enjoy features such as Mozilla Firefox for web browsing, Boxee, Nitro TV, Quicktime, FTP Clients, VLC, Mobile Air Mouse, Google Earth and even more! With all of this, it brings together the perfect Apple TV. For a one time payment of $49.95 it is all yours. This program is compatible with Windows and Mac, so everyone can be part of the action.

Griffin PowerDock 2

With its sleek, silver, and smooth design much like the aluminum macbooks the Griffin PowerDock 2 is by far the best docking station I have found for apple devices. The dock hold two devices at a time. It comes with 8 different adapters fitting with almost every device. Visit their website for the full list of compatible apple devices. The dock comes with a cord to plug into the wall with a very long cable great for putting your dock wherever you want! It is very easy to attach and detach your device from dock. The cable connecting to the back of the dock is also a very snug fit as well. The dock has yet again another great feature! The dock has thick rubber on the bottom to ensure it does not fall off of the table or desk or wherever you put it. It has happened before with other products…

If you are the type of person who does not like to take the case off of your device don’t worry. Unfortunately the case will not fit on if you are using an adapter on the dock but if you decide to leave the adapter off, there is lots of room around the plug for your case to fit nicely. Introducing: Magic Mouse!

Posted in Reviews by Alec Morgana on November 7, 2009 5 Comments

Welcome to the Magic Mouse. It turns your mac into an iPhone. With the magic mouse you can click around just like your ordinary mouse but it is the top of the mouse that makes it so special. Using one or multiple fingers on the top surface of the mouse you can scroll, flick, zoom, pan and more. If you’ve ever used and iPhone or an iPod touch you will know how it works right away. I popped into the apple store and decided to check it out for myself. While I found it a little finicky it was still pretty cool! The only thing I really didn’t like about it is the fact that mouse connects wirelessly using bluetooth and requires 2 AA batteries. I hate batteries. The magic mouse is $69.00 and has been rated 4/5 by over 450 people on the online store. Click here to visit the apple website to browse all of it’s features!
