New Nintendo Hardware to Support 3D Gaming

Ever thought of playing a game in 3D on a Nintendo? It’s now possible and 3D glasses are not required! Nintendo announced that their new 3DS will be available in stores somewhere between April 2010 and March 2011. There hasn’t been any actual proof or demonstrations of this new hardware and some people, like myself, are finding it hard to believe. Nintendo is known for taking short cuts with their products to keep costs down. This was seen with the release of the Wii when the motion controls were a bit poor. Creating 3D technology inside a mobile console would be very expensive and Nintendo might end up taking another short cut therefor providing a product with either glitchy or poor 3D gaming. It’s almost not fair to speculate negatively due to the fact that no one has seen anything and really has nothing to comment on other than the words of Nintendo representatives. For all we know, Nintendo has created a remarkable revolutionary device like the iPhone! What do you think we can expect?

Opera Browser Coming to Your iPhone

Announced just a few hours ago by Opera, a popular web browser creator, their new Opera browser for the iPhone has gone into review with Apple. Whether or not it will even be approved is another story. Apple has rejected other web browsers in the past. Watching their demonstration video gives evidence that it allows you to open multiple tabs in a simple to use interface as well as copy images, open links in new tabs and much more. The speed of their browser is alone a reason to give it a download. They took two identical iPhones, one using the Safari browser and one using their Opera browser. The speed difference was incredible, the Opera browser loaded five pages in the time that Safari loaded one! It’s really hard to say if it was a set up but visually it seems legitimate. If this Opera browser is truly as good as they made it look in their video, I would love to download and try it out for myself! But we shouldn’t speak to soon as Apple could reject it in the next few minutes! Click here to watch their live count up clock on their website for its submission to Apple.

Get Your Hands on an iPad April 3

Posted in News by Alec Morgana on March 12, 2010 1 Comment

Announced just a few days ago by Apple, their new creation will be available in the United States April 3 and the rest of the world by the end of the month. The iPad can now be pre-ordered online or reserved at your local Apple retail store. I can’t wait to hear feedback from users after actually getting their hands on one. I thought that all of the criticism after its unveiling in January was a bit pathetic. People had visions of all kinds of extra features that were put into their heads thanks to internet rumors and were disappointed with the actual product. Go down to your local Apple retail store in April and try one out for yourself before drawing negative conclusions. The same thing happened with the iPhone in 2007 and now the iPhone is arguably the best phone in the world!
