Upgrading To Snow Leopard – Worth It?

Thinking about upgrading your Mac to the new Snow Leopard? Honestly, for just $30 it’s worth it. The reason I upgraded was because I decided to go for a magic mouse and I didn’t realize the multitouch functionality of them required Snow Leopard. Obviously it can work with Leopard, Apple just does that to make more money! Other than the magic mouse, there are quite a few things new that without knowing about them, you probably wouldn’t even notice! I’m not saying they aren’t good, all of the new features are very nice! Everything from quick preview of files without opening them, the new Quicktime X, enhanced iChat for connecting with friends and much more! The quick preview of files makes finding things much faster and efficient. The new Quicktime X is probably the most noticeable upgrade. Viewing videos is now in a much slimmer and sleeker window, you can now record video, audio, and your screen right within Quicktime X, no need to spend more money on screen recording software! iChat has been enhanced so that you can transfer files easier and connections are more reliable, I switched over to Skype a while ago due to this and have returned to iChat with Snow Leopard. This article would be a mile long if I talked about all of the new features so to sum it up, yes you should upgrade to Snow Leopard. Watch our unboxing and preview video of Snow Leopard!

  • Hi, I’m very interested in Linux but Im a Super Newbie and I’m having trouble deciding on the right distribution for me (Havent you heard this a million times?) anyway here is my problem, I need a distribution that can switch between reading and writing in English and Japanese (Japanese Language Support) with out restarting the operating system.
