Apple claims that reviewing an iPhone application for the app store should take approximately 14 days. I think not! I submitted an application to the iPhone app store 3 months ago. As you can see from the screenshot above, I submitted the app May 31. It is now the beginning of september and YES, it is still in review. I sent them an email inquiring about my submission and they replied a week later saying; “Unfortunately we have no further information at this time”. Everyone knows that’s basically a friendly way of asking me to leave them alone! I have to say, I love Apple. I think they are an awesome company, their products such as the Mac and the iPhone are incredible. But I have to say, they have truly disappointed and discouraged me! Apple famously says; “There’s an app for just about anything!”. There could be apps for even more things if they went a little faster! I don’t know exactly how many people are on the apple review team but i think they should consider hiring more!
On August 4 Apple opened iTunes in Mexico. It has been given a huge selection of mexican and international music from around the world. It has launched with millions of songs. The App Store is included in this opening and it joins the crowd of over 65,000 apps. Apple says they are exited to see what new developers can come up with.
One may ask, how much does a mexican song cost on iTunes? Well, the answer is 12 pesos!
